1. Human centipede? Really? I’m disappointed.

2. Right!! It makes about as much sense as
   1. the reality of being able to find the force necessary to get a pick into the rock while you are falling away from it;
   2. being able to hang onto the pick handle with one hand, without slipping and without even a wrist strap; and
   3. not immediately dislocating his arm from the force of the fall and the weight of two bodies coming to a sudden stop, which would likely cause them to slip, anyway.

   Then again, if you look at the angle of the waterfall on the May 20 strip, it looks more diagonal than vertical. Well, perhaps Allen was trying to show some kind of “artsy” angle, as seen from the view of somebody lying on the floor of the cave, looking up…sort of.
