Where is Cherry going to put Banjo Cat if she catches it? Does Doc Davis’ appearance (and his recent on-stage performance) imply that Banjo Cat is a house cat in the Trail compound? I suppose it is possible. Cats are normally solitary and like to hang out in quiet places. Perhaps Banjo Cat and Doc prefer to hang out in Doc’s bedroom, since we rarely see him, as well. Will we get Banjo’s backstory this week?
Art Dept. Speaking of “atmosphere” as I did last week, I really like panel 1. The color and shading impart a real impression of a heavily forested area.
The Daily Trail 
I happen to think since the inception of her strip, the background has been very lazy. Trees are just shadows. Mountains the same. There just is no detail what so ever. I just think the art is lazy. And of course the story line would not keep my 10 year old grand daughter entertained. I’ve tried very hard since she took over the strip to see anything positive. I do on some of the Sunday strips but the week days leave me completely uninterested and not even interested in her story line. So, for me George, my opinion has not changed! I’m looking to see if she can step it up but I am not optimistic.
