I reckon that Jules Rivera must have an underlying reason for having Rusty go off half-cocked with his “invasive species” accusation. Perhaps this story is set up to teach Rusty an important lesson of some sort, such as the consequences of making assertions based on a lack of evidence. Of course, Rusty is also motivated to seek revenge for all the bullying from Robbie.

And we can blame Rusty’s dad for most of that attitude. After all, Mark is the one who initially went flying off into Criminal Investigation mode after ventilating about the real dangers of abandoning blue diamond dwarf shrimp into the wild. But is there any indication that Robbie would do that?
