Clearly, we missed a lot of competitive events that were not covered in this story. And they were all won by meeple who are curiously facing us. Looks like even the Grungey Boys failed to score any trophies. It’s an unusual closing ceremony that seems more like a summer camp with kids celebrating their participation medals.
Well, at least Mark, Cherry, and Rusty had a fun time, right? Everybody got to tickle their fancies a bit. Mark even got a chance to play rough with a couple of big boys and stick it to Tad Crass. We still don’t know how the land conflict will be resolved; however, I expect that we will know before Sunday. As I wrote before, I’m still unsure what Mark found sleazy in the land conflict, other than it was run by Tad Crass, who opposed alternative energy. That’s probably a good enough reason for Mark.
And what a surprise that Mark got kicked out of the competition. I wonder if Cliff did, as well. Cliff? I wonder what happened to him? He’s probably in a bar with the Grungey Boys getting drunk and dissing Mark for getting him disqualified. This may be the last time Cliff invites Mark to a competition.
It seems like the point of this adventure was not to dig into the pros and cons of alternative energy versus entertainment or the complexities of land usage, but to … uh, let’s see. Just what was the point of this adventure?
