Undoubtedly a swipe with a dull knife at comments posted here and elsewhere. Looks like he’s reading them, so might as well keep posting them. They’re certainly more entertaining than the strip.

Mr Allen – why not redo some of the good Mark Trail stories of the 1950s and just modernize them a bit? I’m sure most readers have never read them and anybody over 70 probably won’t recall them, anyway.
