Brilliant! By George, that’s a solid hypothesis! A Hamlet-esque suggestion!
Our patience has been tasked repeatedly over the Allen era… there are times even he seems at a loss for decent storylines and inflection points… take the last one- “Oh hell, I’ll just bury the guy in an avalanche. Fin.”
So here we are, giving a fig about this while we ponder the impact a tiny microorganism is having on our fragile state. Kind of ironic, isn’t it?
Have you noticed the changing appearance of Kevin over the past several days? First, he appears as a very cute blonde-headed kid, who doesn’t seemed fazed by his familial status. Then when made fun of, he loses that cheerful attitude and looks like one of those Margaret Keane big-eyed paintings. Next appearance he looks like an awkward disheveled boy, grateful to be patronized by Rusty (who is surprisingly looking and acting more like a real kid). That’s a lot of emotional changes to go through in about a minute of real time.
I’m excited to see how this Disney-like storyline develops! Reminds me a bit of the old Adventures of Spin and Marty serial.
Well, You’ve got a point about how Allen often ends his stories. I hope, in this place, that Allen will see this one through.
This is not Allen drawing this.
