The plot thickens… Mark boards a Gentle Ben style airboat to ply the vast Florida Everglades… in search of his past…
…and it looks like he has found it!
Up pops Jolly Roger! (new character) Arghh! (that’s pirate talk…) Out of a what? A tiny sinkhole? (Florida is lousy with ’em) With snake in custody? (For what? Why?) Mark’s father stole his farm? (Huh?)

“Oh wow!” ??? Mark’s vocabulary has certainly been updated, though maybe not upgraded. And since when did Mark Trail get queasy about any mode of transportation?
Perplexed, confusion, odd and bizarre. My 4 words for this strip. Someone, please set me straight. Am I missing something? I’ll add disjointed.
Actually, “Arrrrh!” is Pirate talk. “Arghh!” is what you say when you get stabbed by a pirate.
