The White Ibis is stoked, but Mark still has ringing in his ears. This is probably not what he had in mind when he went to interview his father as part of his assignment for Teen Girl Sparkle…

With not just his boat, but an entire fleet of boats aflame, Mark drags himself ashore to await his fate… This is so odd. Mark is on the other side of right and wrong. Actions and decisions have consequences… What will they be?
I’m kind of at a loss. How many laws, State and Federal has Mark broken? Will this strip become “Mark Trail, Prison Wildlife?” Has MTY turned into “The Fugitive?”
Ugh.
Well, “Daddy” certainly can’t pass a few bucks to the cops and tell them he’ll take care of things, not that he would. And the rest of us are in the same boat, so to speak, wondering what the hell is going to happen next. It makes no sense, whatsoever.
I think I’m going to put my money down on Daniel’s theory and hope all of this this is an hallucination or a bad dream he is having at Jolly’s cabin. Perhaps something in Jolly’s dinner didn’t agree with him.
Otherwise, this is not going to go over well back at the Magazine Ranch.
Curiouser and curiouser . . .
