Waaa, waaa, waaa, waaaaaaaaaa….. With violence clearly established as a plot device, we go for laughs any way we can… Will Mark wear the cross-hatches indefinitely? Will Cherry’s shiner ever recede? Will there soon become a “BikBok” outlet for family struggles and other poor behavior? Stay tuned for the next installment of “Mark Trail, Eco-pugilist…”
The Daily Trail 
Well, as others have mentioned this is now certainly a dysfunctional family. Confused on the face cross hatches. Rather than Mark punching a bad guy it seems it’s now all in the family. It kind of appears this “story” may be wrapping up but God only knows. Each strip is so disjointed from one day to another it is hard to tell. I would guess George is correct. I think the majority of long term Trail Heads have probably written this off unfortunately. Daily strips are abysmal, the Sunday strips just OK but lack the past artwork by far. It will be interesting to see what happens the coming months.
