But seriously. What is that perched on the Magnolia branch overlooking Lost Forest? At first I’d say Eagle or some kind of Raptor, but look at the bill… It’s almost Toucan-like… Is there some kind of Genetic Engineering going on the stables?
The bird looks like a caracara, or more formally known as northern crested caracara. They largely feed on carrion. Very interesting looking bird
Also, Lost Forest is sometimes considered to be in northern Georgia, I think. That would be outside of the known range the caracara. But what the heck. Still a interesting bird for Mr. Allen to draw. Maybe one rode in on a camel or a llama or maybe an alpaca.
